How to settle the KAP-Steel-Wave for the customer?

Settlement as mounting part:

Advantage: The real costs for the KAP-Steel-Wave can be given to the customer.

Disadvantage: The customer has a problem to give the costs to his client.

 

Settlement as extra steel bars:

Advantage: The KAP-Steel-Wave will be calculated as extra steel bars. So the KAP-Steel-Wave is getting part of the complete steel list and can be forwarded from the customer. Disadvantage: The weight, which is necessary for one KAP-Steel-Wave, will be so high that it is very difficult to explain the extra steel bars in the steel list.

 

Settlement as lattice girder:

At the moment two systems are used.

  1. The twin wall is designed with KAP-Steel-Wave as well as with lattice girder. For the invoice the steel list with lattice girder is used but at production is used the KAP-Steel-Wave.

  2. The KAP-Steel-Wave is fixed with a calculation factor for lattice girder in the system. So in the steel list the KAP-Steel-Wave is fixed in number and multiple by a factor to get the weight for lattice girder.

Advantage: The customer has the opportunity to handle over the costs for steel bars (lattice girder).

Disadvantage: In both ways for the quotation as well as for the contract it is necessary to make legally phrase that it´s possible to make the invoice with lattice girder by using the KAP-Steel-Wave.  

 

Settlement as twin wall system:

At least another opportunity is coming to the market, which makes it easier for the customer to calculate the twin wall. For this, all extra costs, which are necessary for the system, are included in the basic price. In this way, the customer has the opportunity to match the twin wall with the in situ concrete wall.

Advantage: No fixing what kind of connectors are used for the twin wall. Real settlement for the steel bars similar to the in situ concrete. Easy comparabillity with in situ concrete. Rising up the price easy possible.

Disadvantage: Higher basic price; mostly not used in the market.
