How much pressure from filling concrete can take the KAP-Steel-Wave?
According the approval ETA-15/0224, Kappema composite wall, the KAP-Steel-Wave was calculated with the global safety factor calculation. In the approval the force for filling concrete is fixed on 9.5 KN / stick in a 55 mm layer.
The maximum possible pressure from filling concrete can be calculated as following: Number of waves per sqm x 3 Sticks x 13.3 KN / safety factor 1,15 The concreting height depends on the consistency of the filling concrete (hydraulic pressure) and can be calculated with the parameters for this concrete.
Sample: Distance of the waves horizontal 78 cm Distance of the waves vertical 70 cm Max. height for filling concrete F3 = 3.25 m Max. height for filling concrete F4 = 2.74 m
It is also necessary to calculate even the layer against the forces from filling concrete in between the waves. This calculation must be done on top.
