Which shear- and transverse forces can be taken by the Kap-Steel-Wave?

According the approval ETA-15/0224, Kappema composite wall, the diameter of the sticks can be calculated aginst shear- and transverse forces. Most of the forces will be taken by the cross section of the wall.

 

To simplify the calculation for our customer Kappema offers a calculation with an Excel sheet.

 

As sample you can calculate with following numbers:

Basement wall, C25/30 XC4, fixed on top and at bottom, 25 cm wall size, nom c 3,5 cm

Max h. 4,30 m filled with sand, middle compact, round

Max h. 5,10 m filled with soil without sand

Max h. 3,80 m filled with clay soil, middle compact

Max h. 4,60 m filled with gravel

 

Retaining wall, C25/30 XC4, fixed at the bottom, 30 cm wall size, nom c 3,5 cm, embankment angle 15°, without loads on top

Max h. 2,60 m filled with sand, middle compact, round

Max h. 3,40 m filled with soil without sand

Max h. 2,10 m filled with clay soil, middle compact

Max h. 2,90 m filled with gravel
